Updated Requirements when Visiting a Council Building

No longer on display. Expired on 21 July 2021, 12:00 PM

Uralla Shire Council is employing COVID Safe practices at all its facilities to enable services to run as routinely as possible while keeping the community safe during the latest increase in COVID cases in NSW.

If you are visiting a council building, you will be required to:

  • Wear a face mask
  • Sign-in on your smart phone using the QR code (or manual sign-in if no smart phone)
  • Keep 1.5metres between yourself and others
  • Comply with number of permitted person limits
  • Use hand sanitiser
  • Use cash-free transactions wherever possible
  • Leave the premises and return home if at any time you feel unwell

Staff or customers must not enter a council facility for 14 days after being in a declared COVID hot spot.

Face masks must also be worn to Council meetings, and the number of permitted persons has been reduced.

For more tips on using face masks, visit https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/face-mask-rules

If you are unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons or another valid exemption, please contact Uralla Shire Council on 6778 6300 for assistance before entering.

Visit the Facilities Update page for the latest updates to specific Council services and facilities.

Please note that while opening hours are currently unchanged, there may be some changes to programs being run.

The introduction of the 1 person per 4 square metre rule has required Tablelands Community Support (TCS) to cancel the larger Monday and Wednesday social support groups for the next two weeks, and further changes may be required - please contact TCS for details on 6778 6350.

Programs at Uralla Library (including the school holiday program) are continuing, but with additional COVID Safe practices in place. For more information, contact the Library on 6778 6470.
