At the July Ordinary Meeting, Council resolved to publicly exhibit the Code of Meeting Practice for a period of 42 days.
This Code of Meeting Practice 2022 is prepared in accordance with the prescribed NSW Model Code of Meeting Practice 2018, under section 360 of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021 (the Regulation).
The Model Meeting Code contains new provisions which allow Councils to permit individual Councillors to attend meetings by audio-visual link and to hold meetings by audio-visual link.
