Proposed Amendments to Fees & Charges

Each year Council is required to determine fees and charges for services it provides. It has been identified that a number of new fees should be introduced prior to the next budget setting process, and certain other existing fees amended, to cover the current costs accruing to Council and also to ensure clarity around certain costs.

In in the Ordinary Meeting held 17 December 2024, Council endorsed exhibition of amended fees and charges information, including the following:

  1. the introduction of several new fees to the existing 24/25 Fees and Charges Schedule for the following processes which are currently not charged:
  • Subdivision Works Certificates and any associated inspections.
  • Road Naming
  • Section 138 Applications

 

2. the amendment of some existing fees already included in the 24/25 Fees and Charges Schedule for the following processes:

  • Planning Proposals
  • Subdivision Certificates
