Primary industries natural disaster damage survey

Primary industries natural disaster damage survey (nsw.gov.au)

Uralla Shire Council is currently working with the Department of NSW Resilience to identify if a Natural Disaster Category A categorisation can be obtained for Uralla Shire LGA.

Should this be accepted the Primary Producers/Agricultural Services will be able to apply for assistance relating to recent storms/flooding including:

  • Damage to infrastructure.
  • Economics impacts
  • Business interruptions e.g. not being able to get stock to market etc.

Please note your damage/losses caused from the latest storms and identify your significant concerns. This can be done online through the DPI - Primary industries natural disaster damage survey (nsw.gov.au)

If you could send a copy to council@uralla.nsw.gov.au we will be sending your information through to NSW Resilience. This will give them a complete picture of the LGA to support our application for Category A.

You will need to know:

  1. What has been damaged/lost,
  2. What the estimate cost of repair would be, and
  3. When the damage/loss occurred.

Uralla Shire Council will need to gain a Category A for assistance to be open to Uralla Shire primary producers and agricultural services.

Council encourage the community if they are aware of a dangerous washout they notify Council staff so they can inspect and repair or signpost if necessary. Call 67786300 or Email council@uralla.gov.au .
