The Community Strategic Plan is a high-level plan that identifies the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future, along with strategies for achieving these goals.
With the new Council soon to be elected, the process of reviewing the existing Community Strategic Plan has begun. Council is seeking input from residents about the things they most value about Uralla Shire, and what could make it even better.
Through the Postcard project, Council has created a quick and easy way for Uralla Shire residents to identify their priorities and aspirations to contribute to the review. Postcards have been dropped at locations across the Shire for residents to pick up, write on their ideas, and drop into the designated post box.
Residents can find the postcards at their local general store, library or at the Council Customer Service Centre in Salisbury St, Uralla.
Feedback gathered at previous Listening Posts, drop-in sessions and via submissions received throughout 2021 formed stage 1 of the consultation and will also be considered in the review.
Submissions can also be sent via email to council@uralla.nsw.gov.au or handed to staff at the Customer Service Centre.
The consultation is open until 14 January 2022.
