BUNDARRA SET FOR FREE EVENT THIS FRIDAY - TWILIGHT FUN FEST FROM 3:00PM onwards

The newly installed courts boast an all-weather tennis court, basketball half court, table tennis table, skatepark and even an outdoor gym.

The free event, which is funded by the NSW Government and  hosted by Uralla Shire Council, will be an afternoon filled with live entertainment, a bumper array of market stalls and interactive activities to light up the multisport facilities.

Live music performances will include crowd favourite Allen East and also young mum, Annie Appletree, whose recently released single ‘Liar’ was a collaboration with country music icon Shane Nicholson.

Tamworth singer-songwriter Kevin Spencer will also join the line-up, along with songstress Theresa Hagan, who is well known to Bundarra locals.

For the young and young-at-heart, the event will also include games and sports challenges with tennis pro Karl Silviera serving up tennis challenges and tips. All activities are free, with all sports gear available for loan during the event.

Skateboarding demonstrations and tricks will feature experienced skater Taylor Byrnes and locals are encouraged to bring their board and protective gear along to start rolling alongside Taylor.

With the event starting at 3.00pm and running through until 7.00pm, locals and visitors alike are asked to bring a fold up chair, enjoy a BBQ dinner with Uralla Lions Club and live entertainment.

Market stall holders will have all your food and drink options covered, including ice cream, coffee and also an array of homemade gifts and fresh produce.

“It is terrific to see live events back in Bundarra and Friday’s Twilight Fun Fest provides the community with a chance to take some time out and catch up with others”, said Mayor, Robert Bell.

Uralla Shire Council acknowledges the support of the New South Wales ‘The Festival of Place’ program.
