Uralla Shire Council has established a Section 355 Committee to provide advice on the future of public spaces in Uralla. Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from members of the community to serve on the committee to fill two (2) vacancies.
The Uralla Township and Environs Committee (UTEC) has 12 members and meets at a minimum of twice a year, with further meetings to be facilitated as needed. Since commencement the committee has been meeting monthly on the evening of the second Tuesday of the month. The committee will operate for an interim period of 12 months, with its continued operation to be reviewed by Council in 2019.
EOIs should be addressed to the General Manager and include a statement detailing why the applicant is interested in serving on the committee. Expressions of Interest must be received by 5.00pm on Friday, 8 February 2019 and can be submitted electronically to council@uralla.nsw.gov.au or by post to PO Box 106, Uralla NSW 2358.
