At its Ordinary Meeting held 15 December 2020, Council resolved to place the Draft Gifts and Benefits Policy 2020 on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
The Draft Gifts and Benefits Policy was reviewed following the amendments to the Code of Conduct earlier in the year. The procedures have been removed from the draft Gifts and Benefits Policy and sit as a separate document. The Policy statement stipulates that Council’s token value of a gift is $50 which is a lower amount than recommended from the Office of Local Government.
