Round 2 of Uralla Shire Council’s Community Grants Program will open on 1 February 2021. Community groups and organisations are invited to apply for grants of up to $3000 for eligible projects, activities, or events.
Council encourages groups or organisations in the community to apply for a grant to build community capacity or provide supplementary funding to assist with social, cultural, recreational, educational, and environmental outcomes.
The Community Grants Program provides financial support to community groups and organisations to deliver projects and activities which benefit the Uralla Shire community under the following categories:
- Community development
- Arts and cultural development
- Social services
- Environmental initiatives
- Sport and recreational activities
- Educational support
Applications under Round 2 will close 28 February 2021. Applications will be assessed and determined at Council’s March 2021 Ordinary Meeting.
Individuals can apply for a Community Grant for up to $300 any time of year, provided that the application is submitted at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the project or activity.
