Official Opening of the Aniwan Cultural Collection

The community is invited to join the Mayor, Councillors, and Council staff for the official opening of the Aniwan Cultural Collection at the Visitor Information Centre on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 from 10am.

The Local Aboriginal Artefacts Cultural Display Project commenced in February 2019, with council staff and Aniwan Elders working together for the research and formation of a collection of local Aniwan artefacts which could be placed on display at the Uralla Visitor Information Centre.

Artefacts have been generously loaned and donated by Elders and members of the community, researched and catalogued for display.

The project was made possible by funds received by the Regional Cultural Fund provided by the NSW Government.
